This opens up a number of exciting community project opportunities allowing local youths and unemployed people to retrain and benefit, both financially and socially, from a return to work.
Wherever possible, Beattie Passive actively engages with local communities and works together with a number of Colleges and Higher Education establishments to seek out work placements.
Great Yarmouth Development
Beattie Passive worked alongside Great Yarmouth College carpentry department to develop the skills of local students, who were involved in the manufacture and onsite production. One of our operatives was on-site and the students worked with him to gain the fundamental skills required to work directly on the build project.
We are also working with the media department of the college to film and interview the ongoing build.
